The Festo X-Z Gantry System is an automated handling solution designed for efficient loading and unloading of bearing components such as cups and cones. It operates using a gantry mechanism that moves along X and Z axes to pick components from the conveyor line and place them precisely onto the inspection table. This ensures accurate positioning and smooth transfer of parts without manual intervention.

The system improves overall process efficiency by maintaining consistent handling speed and reducing the risk of damage or misalignment during transfer. Its automated operation helps streamline workflow between different stages of production, ensuring a continuous and reliable material movement while minimizing operator dependency.

In terms of capability, the system can handle a range of component sizes, from small rings of approximately 40 mm diameter to larger rings up to 120 mm. It performs pick-and-place operations in around 10 seconds for both size ranges, making it suitable for controlled, precise handling in inspection and assembly processes.
